Myrtle Beach Home Remodel

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

When Living Beach found this bank-owned property, it was obvious that some serious remodeling was in the future. The ultimate goal was to sell a beautifully remodeled home to a buyer that wanted to live in the Briarcliffe community in Myrtle Beach and also make a profit in order to finance the next remodeling or development project.

PROJECT PROBLEM

The home was built in 1982 and had fallen into foreclosure. Not only did the home need structural improvements, but the cabinetry, fixtures, and flooring needed updated. The front of the home featured tall, open windows, but anyone could see into the kitchen from the outside.

Living Beach’s Solution

Many upgrades were obvious like the stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, fixtures, and fireplace renovations. In order to open up the living room, kitchen, and entryway, minor structural changes were made to the ceiling and hallway. A brand new porch was built to add more space to enjoy the backyard. The most noticeable improvement was the louvered privacy wall that prevented anyone from seeing into the kitchen windows from the road and still allowed plenty of natural light.

Working closely with the designers and construction team at CRG Companies enabled us to carefully plan renovations that added a significant amount of value to the home while staying under budget. Once the home was completed, a CRG Companies agent listed the home and it sold within 3 months of strategic online marketing.
